The History of Brodie Publishing

Brodie Publishing was formed in 1982 to offer a complete self-financing publishing service to the public sector with an emphasis on integrity and quality.

Our first contracts were for local authority tourist maps and street planners, magazines for emergency services, industrial and road safety guides and sporting programmes. Most publications were of an 'in-house' nature but there were some public information guides and a couple of air show programmes.

Within a few years we were publishing high quality brochures for the military including Navy Days, Combined Services International Rugby and the now defunct Navy Field Gun Competitions.

Recently we have added Local Authority Youth Games to our portfolio. The Games are part of a Government initiative to put the 'Great' back into British sport by developing competitive sport for the school children of the country. We also publish sport and recreation facility guides for the disabled, and traditional Chamber of Commerce Directories.

The 'Our Portfolio' section of this site give some examples of our work. If you would like to discuss your publishing requirements please do not hesitate to contact us on 0151 707 2323.
